Three days in Split, the second largest city in in Croatia, surrounded by rugged Dalmatian mountains that slope to the azure Adriatic Sea and four days in Zagreb, the city with a million hearts! The largest city and capital of the Republic of Croatia, located in the heart of Europe. This package leaves you enough time at leisure so you can accommodate these best to your wishes, but includes the most needed services, as well as guided tours of Split and Zagreb.

TOUR HIGHLIGHTS

Split: Surrounded by imposing mountains and crystal-clear waters, the paradisiacal city of Split is famous for its picturesque views, as well as for hosting some of the best Roman ruins in the world. And Diocletian’s Palace (a UNESCO World Heritage site)

Zagreb: A city of green parks and walks, with many places to visit in the beautiful surroundings.

Day 1: ARRIVAL SPLIT

Upon arrival at Split Airport, our representative will meet and greet you and take you to your hotel by a private transfer. Enjoy the rest of the day at leisure.

Overnight in Split.

Day 2: SPLIT

After breakfast, leisure time until the afternoon guided city tour. Split is situated on a peninsula and surrounded by historical towns and settlements. Meet with your guide at agreed point or optionally book a transfer from your hotel to get you to the meeting point. Take a walk through the 4th-century Diocletian's Palace to visit its ancient Cellars, Peristyle, Roman temples (today Christian ones), Cathedral and Baptistry, and then the famous Golden Gate.

Day 3: SPLIT

Enjoy your breakfast at the hotel and the rest of the day at leisure.

You can choose to explore the area on your own or book our suggested optional extra, a full day exploring the area with your personal guide/driver. Maybe explore National park Krka waterfalls, taste some of the prosciutto in surrounding hills or go to island Hvar? Choices are there.

If you are a wine connoisseur you cannot miss one of our optional wine tasting experiences. Taste our authentic Croatian wine varietals paired with fleur de sel, aged red wine vinegar and homemade bread from our oven and more (these optional extras require a minimum of 2 participants).

Day 4: SPLIT – ZAGREB

Enjoy your breakfast and at the agreed time transfer to Zagreb. Enjoy the rest of the day at leisure.

Day 5: ZAGREB

After breakfast, meet with your guide and explore Croatia capital. A stroll through Zagreb is an interesting and pleasant journey through the past and present. The longest street in Zagreb, Ilica, divides the old, romantic Upper Town from the more recently built, bustling and buzzing Lower Town. Upper Town of Zagreb is a unique place for many reasons: colorful rooftop of St. Marks Church, Lotrscak Tower, Funicular, Stone Gate and gas streetlamps that had to be lit by hand. Gradec and Kaptol are the oldest parts of the city from which Zagreb has sprung. Market place Dolac is one of the rare open air markets that still remain in Europe. The main square is the Square of Ban Josip Jelačić. In the afternoon take a break in one of numerous open air cafés that have given Zagreb its popular image as the biggest European café.

Day 6: ZAGREB

Enjoy your breakfast at the hotel and the rest of the day at leisure.

You can choose to explore Zagreb surrounding or other places nearby with our optional extra, personal driver and guide. There’s a wide selection of opportunities, ancient small town Samobor and try “kremšnita” – the favourite pastry and a tradition of Samobor, Hrvatsko zagorje with Veliki Tabor – fortress and museum, or Trakošćan castle.

Day 7: DEPARTURE ZAGREB

Enjoy your breakfast and at the agreed time transfer to the airport to catch your flight.

Comfortable and light clothing is the most suitable for travelling in Croatia, though a warm jumper and jacket are advisable in the cooler months. Visitors should not wear sleeveless shirts, shorts, short skirts or skimpy clothing when visiting religious or official buildings. Sun protection, sunglasses, a hat and mosquito repellent can be very useful during your stay.

INCLUSION INSURANCE IN COMBINED TRAVEL RESERVATIONS

Said section refers to the obligation to inform the client of the possibility of contracting insurance, not to the obligation to include insurance on the trip, that is, the client has the power (option) to contract insurance with the agency or not. . The agency has the obligation to inform that it is recommended that the client take out insurance that includes, at least, issues such as repatriation,... which is basically inclusion insurance.


Once the agency informs the client about the recommendation to contract insurance for the trip, it is the client who can contract insurance with the agency, or contract it directly with whoever they want.
