Day 1: ARRIVAL JEREZ – CADIZ (41km – 30 min)

Upon arrival at Jerez Airport, meet your transfer and continue to the coastal city of Cádiz. Known for its endless beaches, lively promenades and ancient maritime charm, Cádiz offers the perfect introduction to Andalusia. Enjoy the remainder of the day at leisure to settle in, relax or begin exploring the surroundings at your own pace.

Day 2: CADIZ – MEDINA SIDONIA – VEJER DER LA FRONTERA – CADIZ (130km – 2.5h)

After breakfast, begin a beautiful day of exploration. Your first stop is Medina Sidonia, a historic hilltop town where narrow lanes, ancient walls and panoramic views reveal centuries of Moorish and medieval heritage. With your local guide, discover the charming Old Town and its peaceful plazas. Continue to Vejer de la Frontera, considered one of Andalusia’s most picturesque white villages. Stroll along its medieval walls, discover hidden patios draped in flowers and enjoy, on your own, the unmistakable blend of Arab and Andalusian influences that characterise the village. Free time for lunch on your own in Vejer or along the route. In the afternoon, return to Cádiz, one of Europe’s oldest continuously inhabited cities. Visit the impressive Cathedral of Cádiz, famous for its golden dome, and wander through the narrow streets of the atmospheric Pópulo district, the oldest quarter of the city.

Day 3: CADIZ – ZAHARA DE LA SIERRA – ARCOS DE LA FRONTERA – BORNOS – CADIZ (260km – 4hrs)

After breakfast, head deep into the Sierra de Cádiz, beginning with Zahara de la Sierra, dramatically perched above a turquoise reservoir. Enjoy free time to climb to the Nazarí Castle, where sweeping views reward your efforts. Continue to Arcos de la Frontera, a jewel among Spain’s famous pueblos blancos. Explore its historic centre, visit the Minor Basilica of Santa María de la Asunción and admire the breathtaking scenery from the Peña Nueva viewpoint, where the village clings to the edge of a limestone ridge. Free time for lunch on your own in Arcos. Day 4: CADIZ – EL BOSQUE – UBRIQUE – BENAOCAZ – RONDA (160km – 3 hrs)

After breakfast, depart Cádiz and travel through lush countryside and mountain passes to reach Ubrique, famed for its centuries‑old leather‑working tradition. Visit the Leather Museum (Museo de la Piel) and learn about the craftsmanship that has made Ubrique internationally renowned. Enjoy free time to explore the traditional streets and local boutiques. Free time for lunch on your own in Ubrique. Continue with a short stop in Benaocaz, a quiet mountain village where you can wander, on your own, through the traditional Nazarí quarter and admire fantastic views from the local mirador. Arrive in Ronda, one of Andalusia’s most iconic destinations. Visit on your own the mighty Puente Nuevo spanning a dramatic gorge, the historic Plaza de Toros, one of Spain’s oldest bullrings, and the Aldehuela Viewpoint, offering magical sunset panoramas over the valley.

Day 5: RONDA – SETENIL DE LAS BODEGAS – OLVERA – ALGODONALES OR ZAHARA DE LA SIERRA – RONDA (90km – 2.5hrs)

After breakfast, enjoy a day discovering some of the most extraordinary villages of the Sierra de Cádiz. Begin in Setenil de las Bodegas, famed for its astonishing houses built directly under massive rock overhangs. Walk through the streets carved into the cliffs and admire this unique architectural curiosity. Continue to Olvera, a beautiful hilltop village crowned by its impressive Arab Castle and the striking Church of Our Lady of the Incarnation. Walk through its historic centre and enjoy views stretching across olive groves and rolling hills. Free time for lunch on your own in Olvera. In the afternoon, visit Algodonales or return to Zahara de la Sierra, depending on the day’s pace, enjoying a relaxing walk and time to soak up the local atmosphere. Return to Ronda in the late afternoon.

Day 6: RONDA – VILLALUENGA DEL ROSARIO – JEREZ DE LA FRONTERA – CADIZ (160km – 3hrs)

After breakfast, travel from Ronda towards the heart of the Sierra de Cádiz. Stop in Villaluenga del Rosario, the province’s highest village, where stone houses, quiet lanes and beautiful squares create a wonderfully authentic mountain setting. Continue to Jerez de la Frontera. Free time for lunch on your own in the city. In the afternoon, enjoy a guided visit of Jerez, discovering highlights such as the Alcázar of Jerez, a striking example of Almohad architecture, and the bustling Plaza del Arenal. You may also opt for a visit to a traditional sherry wine cellar (optional, at extra cost) to learn about the region’s world‑famous wines and enjoy a tasting. In the evening, an optional farewell dinner can be arranged for those wishing to celebrate the final night of the journey. Dinner otherwise is on your own.

Day 7: CADIZ – JEREZ DEPARTURE (41km – 30min)

After breakfast, transfer to Jerez Airport at the scheduled time.

Comfortable and light clothing is the most suitable for travelling in Spain. Visitors should not wear sleeveless shirts, shorts, short skirts or skimpy clothing when visiting religious or official buildings. Sun protection, sunglasses, a hat and mosquito repellent can be very useful during your stay.
