Dominical: Rugged, wild and untamed, South Puntarenas is the ideal destination for the adventurous travellers. A lush gorgeous region provides the ultimate getaway for those who wish to escape the touristy crowds in favour of a more secluded and quiet vacation. Day 1: ARRIVAL SAN JOSÉ
Your Costa Rican adventure begins on arrival to Juan Santamaría International Airport in San José. Our representative will meet and greet you and then direct you to your transport, which will drop you off at your hotel in San Jose for your first night in Costa Rica.

Day 2: SAN JOSÉ – TAMARINDO (265 Km – 4.5 Hrs)
After breakfast at the hotel, get ready to start your tour today. You will be picked up at your hotel at around 8 am with a shared transfer and taken to your hotel in Tamarindo for check in. Rest of day at leisure to rest or join our optional tour: Sunset Catamaran. You will be picked at your hotel at 1 pm and transfer to Catamaran. Glide silently along Costa Rica’s Gold Coast while passing some of Guanacaste’s exotic bays, white sand beaches, and tropical jungles. Gaze off the bow with a cold tropical drink, prepared and served by our crew, as you scan the seas for dolphins, sea turtles, flying fish or even a breaching whale. Stop in a tranquil bay, drop anchor, and frolic in the blue Pacific. Snorkel in the bay or run down the deserted white sand beach while the ever-helpful crew prepares a feast of BBQ chicken, yellow Spanish rice, fruit, chips, black bean puree, pico de gallo, and homemade chocolate chip cookies. Return to the hotel at approximately 5.30 pm.

Day 3: TAMARINDO
Breakfast at the Hotel. Leisure day in the Tamarindo to enjoy the beach, the waves and explore the area on your own or enjoy one of our optional activities: ATV & Zipline Combo. The adventure starts either at 7.30 am or 12.30 pm and takes approximately 4 hours. We will ride the ATV'S across the local town of Brasilito, Flamingo and Potrero, crossing rivers and creeks. When we arrive at the canopy the guide will initiate the zip line tour. This canopy has 11 cables, some of them suspended up to 25 meters high above the ground and over 400 meters long. At the end enjoy some of the local attractions such as serpentarium, butterfly garden, monkeys and souvenir shops. Then we will ride the ATV'S back to the office. If you prefer a more relaxed experience, you can join this optional tour: Horseback Riding. The tour begins either at 7.30 am or 2.30 pm and takes approximately 2 hours. Start in the village of Brasilito on the route along the beaches and mountains. We can make stops during the tour if you wish to take pictures. In a short time we will change from strolling along a trail through the tropical forest, the home of monkeys, lizards, butterflies and other fascinating flora and fauna, to galloping on the most beautiful beaches.

Day 4: TAMARINDO – JACÓ (235 Km – 4 hrs)
Breakfast at the Hotel & Check Out. At approximately 8 am, departure to Jacó. Jaco is the closest beach to San Jose and one of the most visited coastal destinations in Costa Rica. The beach is a strip of 2.5 miles (4 km), with world famous spots such as Playa Hermosa, which even hosted a Surfing World Championship organized by ISA in 2009. With waves suitable for beginners and experts, numerous services and an active nightlife, Jacó is an excellent option for the practice of this fantastic sport.

Day 5: JACÓ
Enjoy a fantastic breakfast at the hotel and spend this day in Jaco surfing, resting or continuing to discover corners of Jaco such as El Miro with spectacular views of Jaco. On the way up you can find monkeys, frogs, toucans and barnacles in their natural environment, in addition to decorated walls and many graffiti, seriously, they are many, you can also enjoy a bike ride, but not just any Bike, the preferred one is "Banana". Or just marvel at a sunset, from the balcony of a hotel, from the mountain, from your table in a restaurant or just sitting on the sand, and enjoy this free show nature has to offer. There is no sunset like this, and I assure you that the ones in Playa Jaco have a magical touch that you will love.

Day 6: JACÓ
Take advantage of this last day in Jacó, after breakfast at the hotel and join one of our optional tour: Vista Los Sueños Horseback Riding & Waterfalls. This is perhaps one of the best ways to discover the wonders of the Costa Rica rainforest. Come and discover nature at its best in our private and exclusive 80-acre property, where you will also enjoy our own private waterfalls and natural swimming pools. You may be able to spot some great wildlife such as toucans, scarlet macaws, and white-faced monkeys. Upon arrival at the waterfalls and swimming pool area, you will have some time to relax and enjoy the waterfalls and natural slide. The tour starts at our beautiful Herradura Costa Rica base, just 10 minutes from Jaco Beach and Los Suenos Resort. Once you arrive, we will equip you and you will depart on our journey to the waterfalls and natural swimming pools. Along the way, you will see farms, get a close look at nature, as you start ascending through the rainforest. During the tour your bilingual guide will provide bottled water and at the end of your journey, after 2 hours we will greet you with fresh tropical fruits.

Day 7: JACÓ – DOMINICAL (110 Km – 1.5 hrs)
Breakfast at the hotel and check out. Departure to your next destination around 8 am, Playa Dominical in the exotic South Pacific. Dominical is a beach town in the South Pacific of the province of Puntarenas. It is surrounded by tropical forest and its population is extremely small. Its beach, characterized by its strong waves and open sea, measures around 2 kilometers and is on the banks of the mouth of the Baru River. It is famous for its great waves throughout the year and is well known by most surfers in Costa Rica. The town began as a small fishing village but has grown to become a well-known Costa Rican tourist destination, especially for surfers.

Day 8: DOMINICAL
Breakfast at the hotel. Spend the day at leisure in Dominical. Enjoy the beach, the waves and explore the area on your own.

Day 9: DOMINICAL
Breakfast at the hotel. If you need a break from the waves, the Dominical coasts also have dense tropical rain forests, which are excellent for hiking. They are home to several waterfalls and caves where you will have an unforgettable experience.

Day 10: DOMINICAL – SAN JOSÉ (210 Km – 4 hrs)
Enjoy your last breakfast in Costa Rica and after the Check out at the indicated time, you will be picked up by shared transfer and taken to San José Airport for your return flight.
Comfortable and light clothing is the most suitable for travelling in Costa Rica. Visitors should not wear sleeveless shirts, shorts, short skirts or skimpy clothing when visiting temples, religious or official buildings. Sun protection, sunglasses, a hat and mosquito repellent can be very useful during your stay.
